April/May Changelog
In April and May, in addition to our new Compliance product, we shipped several new updates including ledger dashboard improvements, exporting payment approval queues and bulk imports, and more.
Introduction
The teams have been busy making several updates and improvements these last couple months. Here is what we shipped recently.
Payments Updates
Support for Clients at Bank of Montreal, Citibank, FNBO, and Mechanics Bank
We added support for ACH and Wire payments at Bank of Montreal, Citibank, First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO), and Mechanics Bank. Modern Treasury is excited to welcome our first shared clients at these banks.

Retry Webhook Events
Sometimes customers need to retry webhook events. Whether they are testing an integration and wanting to replay an event, or servers have failed to process an event, customers can now easily retry events in both the dashboard and API. Currently, API retries are only available in sandbox.
Export Approval Queue and Bulk Imports
Customers can now retrieve a .CSV export of Payment Orders matching applied filters in their Approval Queue. This makes it easier to share and review subsets of approvals internally, facilitating faster verification and bulk approval.
In addition, they can retrieve a .CSV export of previously uploaded Bulk Imports based on the applied filters in their dashboard.
Additional Filters & Attributes
Below are additional filters and attributes that have been added for the Payments dashboard or API:
- Filter by Reference Number in Payment Orders list
- View IFSC Routing Number and Counterparty attributes in External Account details
- View Payment Type attribute in Transactions list
- Added created_at filter to Expected Payments API endpoint
- Added an external_id filter to the List Ledger Transactions API endpoint
- Added a ledger_account_lock_version filter to the List Ledger Entries API endpoint
- Added a filter for minimum and maximum balances by effective date to the Ledger Accounts dashboard
Rule Views & Audit Trails
We have improved the Rules list view, making it easier to find and review Rules. Each Rule also has a dedicated details page, which includes the attributes and conditions of the Rule, the Audit Trail, and a list of affected Payment Orders.

Ledgers Updates
Ledgering a Payment Order
When creating a payment order, you can now pass in a corresponding ledger transaction object in the `ledger_transaction` field. For example, you can now pull funds from a user and credit their digital wallet in the same atomic API call, removing the need for complex retry logic.
Ledgers Dashboard Improvements
Users with write access to Ledgers can now create ledger and ledger account objects through the web dashboard. You can now also view and export ledger entries in the dashboard. If you haven’t explored Ledgers yet, to see our new walkthrough of how it works.
Cursor-Based Pagination
We’re introducing cursor-based pagination in our API endpoints, beginning with the Ledgers API.
